The Edward Lear Public House
A conversion from an unloved two story public house into a refined, modern yet querky drinking and dining establishment in North London. We were tasked with reflecting the eccentric character of Edward Lear the 19th century English artist, author and poet. Whilst keeping original signage and historical decor, we added and celebrated Edward Lear's work with pictures and poems painted onto walls and steps throughout the venue. Leather banquet seating combined with a soft heritage colour palette was used to create a calm and homely environment.
